Water for Life

Clean, safe drinking water is scarce, with nearly 1 billion people globally having no access to this life-giving resource. 

Attaching great importance to advancing Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Water and Sanitation), IDEA joined the Water for Life project, which is aimed at providing remote villages and vulnerable communities with access to clean safe drinking water. So far, IDEA has already installed water wells in Uganda’s Boliso village, Tanzania’s Kabowa village and Kenya’s Sikulu village. These water wells will benefit over 2000 people in these villages.
